Year 1

⁃ Robinkit is in shock.

⁃ Magpiekit did not escape the redcough outbreak.

⁃ Although he's always wanted to be a warrior, as he watches Magpiekit grow sicker and sicker, Jaykit knows that he must take the path of a medic. That night, he dreams of starry-furred cats who tell him that they will serve as his mentors. Jaykit is now Jaypaw.

⁃ While out searching for herbs, Jaypaw picks out a stalk of lily of the valley to decorate his fur.

⁃ Robinkit and Pigeonkit are scared for Magpiekit.

⁃ Magpiekit hopes that his clanmates are doing alright.

⁃ Magpiekit doesn't survive his illness.

⁃ Robinkit feels ill.

⁃ Pigeonkit talks to Magpiekit's empty nest, trying to pretend that her friend is still there.

⁃ Leaf-Bare has hit LyreClan.

⁃ Robinkit is no longer in shock.

⁃ When Robinkit gets a little injured, Jaypaw is the first to help.

⁃ Jaypaw snaps at Pigeonkit when she tries to convince him to play with her instead of focusing on his training.

⁃ LyreClan has run out of prey.

⁃ Robinkit and Pigeonkit are now old enough to become apprentices. They are now called Robinpaw and Pigeonpaw.

⁃ Jaypaw gives Robinpaw rosy maple moth wings to congratulate her. Pigeonpaw watches her clanmates from the edge of camp.

⁃ Jaypaw does his best to teach the other apprentices how to hunt. During training, Robinpaw brushes against him before quickly looking away with a purr and a blush.

⁃ Robinpaw and Jaypaw make up constellations together.

⁃ Robinpaw and Pigeonpaw go hunting together, but they don't catch much.

⁃ Pigeonpaw finds a dead magpie. It's relatively intact so she brings it back to camp, but first, she uses its feathers to decorate her pelt. Now she carries Magpiekit with her wherever she goes.

⁃ Pigeonpaw has been offering her share of prey to Robinpaw and Jaypaw. Unfortunately, the lack of food has left her too weak to hunt.

⁃ Jaypaw tells Robinpaw that he's worried about Pigeonpaw. Pigeonpaw just feels guilty for making her friend stress about her. She wonders if Robinpaw and Jaypaw would be better off without her.

⁃ Determined to find something for Pigeonpaw, Robinpaw takes a risk and goes to hunt out by the twoleg dens. Luckily, she manages to get by undetected and brings back just enough prey to feed the three of them.

⁃ Jaypaw feels like he's failing his clanmates. He goes out to search for dandelions hidden under the snow and refuses to give up, even when his limbs go numb. He returns to camp cold, wet, and shivering violently. He realizes with creeping dread that his ears are badly frostbitten.

⁃ Robinpaw is upset with Jaypaw for endangering himself like that.

⁃ The arrival of new-leaf has brought hope to the apprentices. Their mouths water at the thought of the hopefully easier catches that come with the influx of young prey.

⁃ The lack of prey has left Robinpaw with a persistently aching belly. Still, she powers through to find as much prey as she can.

⁃ Pigeonpaw's paws no longer feel quite so heavy. She can tell that she still needs to eat more, but at least the situation isn't as dire.

⁃ Robinpaw apologizes to Jaypaw for having yelled at him last moon. She admits that she's just really worried about him. He's LyreClan's only medic and more than that, he's her best friend. She doesn't want to lose him to such a stupid mistake as staying out too long in the cold. Jaypaw apologizes to her as well. The two of them both sleep in Jaypaw's nest that night.

⁃ Pigeonpaw and Jaypaw's tempers have both been cut short by the lack of food. Robinpaw notices with unease that they've been getting into more and more petty arguments as of late.

⁃ Seeing how sore and tired Jaypaw is, Robinpaw convinces him to take a break from messing around with his herbs, and play moss ball with her.
⁃ Pigeonpaw and Robinpaw go out to hunt together, but get scared off by the sounds of howling wolves.

⁃ Pigeonpaw took a tumble while hunting and returns to camp sore and bruised.

⁃ Despite his best efforts, Jaypaw is unable to save his ears from the frostbite. He has lost almost all of his ears and with them, a significant amount of his hearing.

⁃ Pigeonpaw and Jaypaw talk about when and how they should start going to Gatherings again. To the other Clans, it must seem like LyreClan has disappeared. Their old territory is abandoned for fear of lingering infection and everyone except the three apprentices are dead. After some discussion, they both agree that they should wait until they have a more steady footing to reintroduce themselves to the Clans. At least until they have a proper leader.

⁃ Pigeonpaw and Robinpaw race through the forest together. They are both left giggling after a bird that Pigeonpaw misses tries to poop on her in revenge.

⁃ For the first time in a while, LyreClan is secure in it's food stores. They have more than enough to feed all three cats. The bigger meals seem to help the healing process along as Robinpaw's stomachache has disappeared and Pigeonpaw no longer finds herself quite so sore.

⁃ Jaypaw overhears Pigeonpaw humming a tune that he remembers from the nursery. When he asks her about it, she pauses to explain the story of their ancestors that the song tells and how her mother used to sing it to her before she fell asleep each night.

⁃ Robinpaw has been hanging around the medicine den non-stop recently. Pigeonpaw keeps exaggeratedly gagging in her and Jaypaw's direction every time she spots them so intertwined with each other that they might as well be one cat.

⁃ Robinpaw and Pigeonpaw go hunting together again. They work hard and long, coordinating with each other to drive the prey right into each other's claws. By the end of it, they are carrying mouthfuls of prey back to camp, enough so that it takes multiple trips and they have to get Jaypaw to help them carry it all back.

⁃ The Clan rejoices as greenleaf arrives.

⁃ Pigeonpaw trips over a tree root and lands flat on her face. Jaypaw is reduced to fits of giggles that he has to clear before he can go and actually check if she's okay.

⁃ Jaypaw is always asking where Robinpaw is and Pigeonpaw is always rolling her eyes in response. As it turns out, life is difficult when your only friends are both lovesick idiots.

⁃ Jaypaw hopes that StarClan will find him worthy of his full name soon.

⁃ Pigeonpaw goes off to hunt on her own today, hoping to prove her individual worth to her Clanmates.

⁃ When Jaypaw goes to search for catmint by the twolegplace, he is startled to find a kittypet waiting for him. The tom introduces himself as Frumpkin and explains that he's been having odd recurring dreams, full of starry-furred cats and brightly glowing birds trying to lead him into the forest. Knowing a blessing from StarClan when he sees it, Jaypaw invites him to join LyreClan. Frumpkin is glad to accept, although he decides to keep his name as is.

⁃ Robinpaw and Pigeonpaw show Frumpkin around the camp, but Robinpaw is worried that the kittypet might bring some new kind of disease into the Clan. Meanwhile, Pigeonpaw is just happy to have a new Clanmate.

⁃ Frumpkin goes with Jaypaw to gather herbs and shows him all the best Twoleg gardens to go to for catmint.

⁃ Robinpaw and Jaypaw have a pleasant afternoon as they gather moss together. Something they will later insist to Pigeonpaw, that was not a date.

⁃ Excited to have someone in the Clan with her besides just Jaypaw, and Robinpaw, Pigeonpaw decides to take Frumpkin on a tour of the territory. As she leads the way through the dense undergrowth, she hears a crash above her and the world is blotted out by a tangle of fallen branches. She hears Frumpkin yell for her, but the branches are heavy. It takes a long time for Frumpkin to dig her out, but he does eventually manage to extract Pigeonpaw from the pile. Battered and bruised, Pigeonpaw leans on Frumpkin as they walk back to camp where Jaypaw can treat her broken jaw.

⁃ Robinpaw and Jaypaw use the moss they gathered last moon to fix up the camp and build better nests for everyone.

⁃ Frumpkin is still adjusting to Clan life. He misses not having to wake up at the crack of dawn to hunt or patrol.

⁃ Frumpkin and Robinpaw chase off a small dog that was straying too close to the border.

⁃ The arrival of leaf-fall marks a year since the LyreClan extinction. It's time to start stocking prey and herbs for leafbare

⁃ Though he may act a little goofy, Jaypaw has worked hard to earn his name of Jaynight, and vows that he'll protect LyreClan as a medic. He starts giggling right after he says it, causing a few purrs of amusement from onlookers both in the camp and in StarClan. Houndweb, LyreClan's prior medic, looks on with pride as Jaynight fully steps into his role and is honored for his compassion.

⁃ Before Jaynight's naming ceremony ends, he asks Quillstar for permission to award Pigeonpaw and Robinpaw their warrior names. Quillstar nods and gives his blessing, telling Jaynight to give them their names when he feels they are ready. He trusts his judgement.

⁃ Jaynight knows that Pigeonpaw and Robinpaw are ready to become warriors as he says the words of the ceremony. Unsure of what their names should be, he allows them to pick their own suffixes. The clan cheers as Robinpaw picks the name Robinpounce and is honored for her charisma. Pigeonpaw, still having trouble speaking through her broken jaw, whispers her choice to Robinpounce who gives it Jaynight. She is named Pigeonlilac and honored for her wit and strategy.

⁃ For just this one perfect moment, heads pressed together and speaking their commitment in front of the Clan, there’s nothing in Robinpounce and Jaynight’s worlds but love. Their perfect moment is rudely interrupted by Pigeonlilac's shout of "Finally!"

⁃ Jaynight and Pigeonlilac get into a squabble and Pigeonlilac says something that makes the rest of the Clan gasp.

⁃ Robinpounce apologizes to Frumpkin for having been so distrustful of him when he first arrived.

⁃ Maybe Clan life isn't so bad. Frumpkin slinks through LyreClan's territory under the claw-scratch moon, making sure to keep low to the ground as he approaches the BranchClan border. He crouches out of sight and waits, still as stone. After a short while, there's a familiar soft call across the border. Perking up, Frumpkin rushes forward, pushing his nose into Stagwhistle's fur. Tails entwined, they talk in hushed voices until the stars start to blink out. With a soft goodbye, each returns home, their Clans unaware of their secret.

Year 2

⁃ Jaynight was seen chasing a rogue off of the territory. The Clan has encountered Shortbread.

⁃ Robinpounce and Jaynight went on a moonlit stroll to stargaze together. Neither of them get much sleep that night, but neither of them mind.

⁃ Jaynight snaps at Pigeonlilac to leave him alone after she playfully teases him about how lovey-dovey he is with Robinpounce. He's really not in the mood today. It's the anniversary of Magpiekit's death.

⁃ Jaynight's guilt over not being able to save Magpiekit is starting to make him feel ill.

⁃ Pigeonlilac feels embarrassed about having been squished by a tree branch. There's no way she'd be able to hold her own in a real battle against an actual living creature if she was literally defeated by a large stick.

⁃ With leafbare approaching, prey has gotten craftier and harder to catch. LyreClan can't seem to catch enough to keep everyone fed.

⁃ Despite the lack of prey, Robinpounce's belly seems oddly swollen. She tries to deflect her friends' questions for as long as she can, but eventually she runs out of excuses. Robinpounce begrudgingly agrees to settle into the nursery. Pigeonlilac and Frumpkin assure her that they can handle hunting for the clan until the kits arrive.

⁃ Pigeonlilac's broken jaw has finally healed, although she's left with a nasty scar across her face. She's glad to be able to hunt again though. The Clan needs all paws on deck to keep Robinpounce and her future kittens fed through the leafbare.

⁃ Frumpkin makes sure to bring Robinpounce the biggest piece of fresh-kill that he can find, insisting that she needs to eat extra now that she’s feeding more than just herself.

⁃ Robinpounce's pregnancy has shifted Frumpkin's mind to Stagwhistle in BranchClan. He smiles to himself as her remembers that they have a meeting in just a few days.

⁃ Frumpkin and Pigeonlilac don't manage to catch anything, their hunt spent avoiding the pack of wolves that seems to be snatching up the local prey.

⁃ Leafbare's frozen winds wind their way through the sheltered camp.

⁃ Robinpounce doesn't know how many kits she'll have, but she's hoping for a small litter, one that's easier to feed.

⁃ Robinpounce finds that, despite her initial discomfort with his arrival, she and Frumpkin have grown to be friends.

⁃ Pigeonlilac fumbles the fish she's been hunting and sighs. As much as they hate to admit it, she and Frumpkin are really feeling Robinpounce's absence.

⁃ Despite the chill outside, Robinpounce and Jaynight's hearts are near melting as they take in the two perfect kits suckling at Robinpounce's side. They pick out the names Resinkit and Lakekit for their newborn sons.

⁃ Having given up his prey to keep Robinpounce fed for the last few moons, Frumpkin has been left malnourished.

⁃ Frumpkin and Pigeonlilac seem just as in love with Resinkit and Lakekit as their parents are. It's a bright spot of hope in such a hard leafbare.

⁃ Jaynight has been fussing over the nursery walls, checking and rechecking and reinforcing them over and over. It's partially to keep his paws busy, partially to keep him from stressing about his babies, and partially so that he can stay near Robinpounce as she recovers.

⁃ Frumpkin and Pigeonlilac manage to catch a large bird together. They return to camp with chests puffed out in pride, knowing the bird is enough to keep everyone fed for a good while.

⁃ Since the birth of his sons, Jaynight has been distracted. His wandering mind catches up to him when he trips while out gathering herbs and returns to camp sore, bruised, and thoroughly embarrassed.

⁃ Robinpounce has been struggling with nightmares about her kits getting sick. She hasn't slept well in days.

⁃ Frumpkin finally feels energized again. It seems the newly consistent meals have done him good.

⁃ Jaynight feels himself nearly melt with pride as he watches Lakekit and Resinkit tussel outside the nursery. Robinpounce is glad to have her husband watching the kits as it means that she can take a nap and try to get a tiny bit of restful sleep.

⁃ Frumpkin can't stop thinking about Stagwhistle. He wishes that he could convince her to come to LyreClan with him.

⁃ Lakekit yowls as loudly as he can for seemingly no reason at all, much to the concern of his parents and the annoyance of his brother. Resinkit wraps his tail over his ears and swats irritably at Lakekit.

⁃ LyreClan celebrates the arrival of newleaf with much glee.

⁃ As the wind blows many petals around the camp, Lakekit picks a few to decorate himself.

⁃ Exhausted from parenting, Jaynight is relieved when Lakekit and Resinkit finally fall asleep so that he can curl up with Robinpounce for his own nap.

⁃ Resinkit listens with laser focus as Frumpkin tells her about what being a warrior is like.

⁃ Pigeonlilac tries to show Frumpkin a new battle move she's been working on, but doesn't quite pull it off. Frumpkin reassures her that she doesn't need to worry. That's what practice is for, and he's sure that she'll meet her admirably high standards soon enough.

⁃ Robinpounce has fully recovered from giving birth with little to no issue, much to everyone's delight.

⁃ Frumpkin and Pigeonlilac take time to play some moss ball with the kits after they finish their shift of camp guard.

⁃ Lakekit keeps trying to convince the warriors to fetch prey for him, completely ignoring the fact that he's fully capable of getting it himself.

⁃ Robinpounce, Frumpkin, and Pigeonlilac pause their border patrol when they hear the traipse of pawsteps following them. Robinpounce whirls around to confront the intruder and is surprised to find herself face to face with a skinny, anxious looking kittypet. The kittypet quickly tries to explain that she's not trying to cause trouble, but she needs help. Her twolegs tossed her out and, not knowing how to hunt, she tried to scavange some twoleg garbage which made her really sick. She'd heard of cats living in the forest and hoped that they could help her. Frumpkin and Robinpounce exchange glances before guiding the molly back to camp for a fresh meal and some herbs to soothe her stomach. Grateful, and afraid of being on her own again, the kittypet decides to join LyreClan and takes the name of Dipperfeather.

⁃ Dipperfeather has recovered from her food poisoning.

⁃ Pigeonlilac and Frumpkin watch Lakekit and Resinkit so that their parents can rest a bit. Immediately, both kits try to sneak down to swim in the river, leaving an exasperated Pigeonlilac to corral them back into camp.

⁃ Frumpkin and Robinpouce track a large dog long the edge of the territory, but they lose track of it.

⁃ Pigeonlilac eats the prey she catches on patrol instead of bringing it back to camp, leading to a thoroughly humiliating scolding from Jaynight.

⁃ Greenleaf's arrival brings both plentiful prey and sweltering heat upon the Clan.

⁃ Pigeonlilac is impressed with how quickly Dipperfeather has adjusted to Clan life. As the two of them head out catch some prey, she notes that does Dipperfeather seem to really enjoy the thrill of the hunt, She's also gotten quite good at it in the few moons she's been here.

⁃ Lakekit and Resinkit are being absolute menaces, tearing around the camp and yowling at the top of their lungs.

⁃ Frumpkin is unable to slip away from watching over Resinkit and Lakekit and as a result, misses a meeting with Stagwhistle at the border. He feels horrible about ghosting her and hopes that she'll understand when he explains at their next meeting.

⁃ Resinkit gives his brother a lick behind the ears and tells him to stop fussing with his fur as the Clan gathers to watch the two be made apprentices by Jaynight. On the vote of the Clan, Pigeonlilac will mentor Resinpaw and Frumpkin will mentor Lakepaw.

⁃ Dipperfeather sees Lakepaw struggling to get his stalking posture right and offers to help tutor him.

⁃ Pigeonlilac is both amused and annoyed as Resinpaw starts an argument with her about the technique they're working on today.

⁃ Lakepaw is tired of feeling like the baby of the Clan and begs Frumpkin to teach him some more advanced moves so that he can feel like he's contributing more.

⁃ While searching for some specific herbs, Jaynight comes across the bodies of a molly and her newborn kits. He brings them back to camp and sends the apprentices to their den so that the rest of the Clan can give the deceased cats a proper burial.

⁃ Despite his kithood dreams of being a warrior, Jaynight is glad that he chose the path of a medic. He can't imagine hunting or fighting to be more fulfilling than caring for his Clanmates and keeping his family healthy.

⁃ Dipperfeather has Resinpaw and Lakepaw enraptured by a very tall tale of her life before the clan. She tells them of how she fought off bears and wolves without breaking a sweat before being poisoned by an evil spirit.

⁃ Pigeonlilac practices fighting with Resinpaw while Frumpkin teaches Lakepaw how to track.

⁃ Resinpaw and Lakepaw dart around the camp, pouncing on the leaves that have started to fall from their trees.

⁃ Frumpkin chases the rogue Shortbread off of LyreClan territory.

⁃ Resinpaw stands up for Pigeonlilac after his mentor is accused of copying one of Lakepaw's jokes. Frumpkin admires Resinpaw's character.

⁃ Dipperfeather thanks Jaynight for having treated her so kindly when she first arrived.

⁃ Resinpaw and Pigeonlilac get stuck on den repair duty. Resinpaw thinks to himself that he'd much rather be hunting.

⁃ Pigeonlilac sticks her head into a badger sett to check if it's occupied. As it turns out, it is, and she just barely manages to scramble back in time to avoid the badger's furious fizzing. Resinpaw watches, thoroughly startled, although the mentor and apprentice laugh about the close call on their way back to camp.

Year 3

⁃ Robinpounce and Pigeonlilac discuss what they should do about LyreClan's leadership situation. Pigeonlilac and Frumpkin are the only cats who will have trained apprentices (once Lakepaw and Resinpaw become warriors), although Pigeonlilac insists that Robinpounce is more than qualified for the position regardless of what the Code says. Robinpounce turns her head and quietly admits that she's not sure if she wants to be leader. It would mean that she would outlive Jaynight and possibly even Resinpaw and Lakepaw. Pigeonlilac, who had been trying not to think about that, just stays silent.

⁃ Robinpounce and Jaynight spend the afternoon playing with their sons. Resinpaw wins a race against his father while Lakepaw and Robinpounce play-wrestle.

⁃ Lakepaw catches a huge rabbit and is overjoyed when Frumpkin tells him he can eat it when they get back to camp. Before Lakepaw can though, Resinpaw snatches the hare up and trots away, refusing to share.

⁃ Dipperfeather and Resinpaw come across another badger sett. Inspired by his mentor's bravery last moon, Resinpaw sticks his entire head into the hole and it is only by the grace of StarClan (and Dipperfeather frantically pulling him back) that he avoids getting his head taken off by an extremely angry badger.

⁃ Lakepaw sprains his paw while practicing his tree-climbing skills.

⁃ Lakepaw says some nasty things to Resinpaw, still upset that he stole his rabbit last moon. The two nearly get into a fight until their parents step in. Robinpounce scolds Lakepaw for saying such mean things about his brother while Jaynight tells Resinpaw that he has to do some of Lakepaw's chore for the next moon as an apology for taking his catch.

⁃ Although he loves Clan life and he knows that this is where he belongs, Frumpkin can't help but miss the stuffed mouse toy that he had when he lived with his twolegs.

⁃ Pigeonlilac doesn't particularly want to become leader, but she knows that Robinpounce doesn't either. Frumpkin, while a wonderful Clanmate, doesn't have the history and knowledge of LyreClan to propery carry on it's legacy. Pigeonlilac really doesn't want this, but Robinpounce's happiness has always been more important than her own ...right?

⁃ Resinpaw feels guilty for stealing Lakepaw's prey, especially now that his brother is stuck in the camp with a sprained paw. When Resinpaw returns from his hunting patrol, he picks out the biggest piece of fresh-kill that he can find and brings it over to the Apprentice's Den to share it with Lakepaw.

⁃ For the first time in a while, LyreClan is still in good health and good spirits when the first snows of leafbare fall to the ground.

⁃ Lakepaw's sprain has healed well and he can walk without pain once more.

⁃ Pigeonlilac is anxious about becoming leader. Will StarClan even accept her? Still, she's made up her mind and tells Jaynight and Robinpounce that once she finishes training Resinpaw, she plans to take up the mantle of leadership. Seeing Robinpounce's shoulder slump with relief does make her anxiety dim just a bit.

⁃ Dipperfeather and Robinpounce try out some new fighting techniques together, their trust and confidence in each other growing as they practice their teamwork.

⁃ Resinpaw sits in front of his Clanmates, eager to recieve his warrior name. Still, his eyes drift to the horizon and he seems unfocused as Pigeonlilac names him Resinleap and honors him for his risk-taking. Lakepaw, having fallen behind in his training due to spraining his paw, still has a moon or two of catchup before he can join his brother in the Warrior's Den.

⁃ Pigeonlilac calls to Robinpounce to bring her back a fat mouse as the other molly heads out to hunt. Robinpounce grins back at her friend and promises to bring back a squirrel instead, knowing that they are Pigeonlilac's favorite.

⁃ Dipperfeather finds a wounded cat lying still by the thunderpath. She tentatively approaches, startling when she sees signs of life. As gently as possible, she brings the injured molly back to camp for treatment. Although the molly has a broken jaw, when she wakes up, she manages to communicate that her name is Otterplume and that she would like to join the Clan.

After recieving the approval of her Clanmates, Pigeonlilac lays down in the Star-Circle at the center of LyreClan's resting grounds and closes her eyes.

Pigeonlilac opens her eyes and is immediately surrounded by her loved ones, family, and Clanmates who have passed on. Stars shine throughout their pelts and their eyes are warm as they greet the new leader.

Emerging from the line comes Magpiekit, a quiet calm to him despite his small stature. He very carefully offers a life for optimism, sounding as though he's trying very hard to remember the right words to say. Once finished, he rushes back to the line of starry pelts, shooting Pigeonlilac a quick smile over his shoulder.

Prancefire advances forward, chuckling, and gently nudging Pigeonlilac as she urges her to fix her meek posture to one that emanates confidence and commands respect. Only then does Prancefire grant a life for strength, hoping it will remind Pigeonlilac of her worth and the fairth LyreClan has in her. Houndweb approaches next, a warm smile on her face. She offers a life for devotion, whispering to take care of the Clan the best she can.

Suncreek steps forward to give Pigeonlilac a life for bravery. Pigeonlilac grits her teeth as the life rushes into her.

A vaguely familiar young cat emerges from the starry ranks next. Starlight reflects off her youthful eyes and Pigeonlilac remembers the apprentice who used to visit her in the nursery when she was very small. Crowpaw stretches up to give a life for mentoring.

Finally, Quillstar steps forward. There is pride in his gaze as he stares into Pigeonlilac's eyes. He gives a life for leadership through the darkest times. Suddenly, the mist at the edge of the clearing takes shape. Dozens of wispy, starry spirits emerge, quickly surrounding Pigeonlilac. “We grant you your remaining three lives.” Individually, each voice is distant, but together, the force of their words shakes Pigeonlilac to her core. “Use them well, with our blessing.” And in a heartbeat, they’re gone. Quillstar hails Pigeonlilac by her new name, Pigeonstar, telling her that her old life is no more. She is granted guardianship of LyreClan, and is told to use her new power wisely. The group of starry cats yowls Pigeonstar’s name in support. Pigeonstar wakes up feeling a new strength within her body and knows that her life-givers are still by her side, even if she can no longer see them.

⁃ Pigeonstar appoints Robinpounce as her deputy as they had discussed.

⁃ Pigeonstar rests her muzzle on Lakepaw's head and declares his training complete. She names him Lakebillow and honors him for his loyalty.

⁃ Otterplume worries that the Clan will view her as a drain on resources as she heals from her broken jaw. Luckily, Frumpkin has been visiting regularly to bring her prey and help her eat and he catches on to her insecurities. He reassures her that she doesn't need to be scared, pointing out Pigeonstar's scarred jaw and telling her the story behind it. No matter what, LyreClan is glad to have her here with them.

⁃ Resinleap has been bringing Otterplume the random trinkets he finds while exploring, eager to show off his collections to someone new.

⁃ Pigeonstar and Dipperfeather lead a dog away from LyreClan's territory. As they run, Dipperfeather is caught in the canine's jaws, and although Pigeonstar manages to pull her to safety, it's clear that Dipperfeather's leg is broken.

⁃ Robinpounce and Frumpkin find a kittypet sheltering in a ditch with two kittens. They take the three of them back to camp to get something to eat and the kittypet explains that he managed to escape the crowded twoleg den he had been kept in and he couldn't leave the kittens. They've been surviving on their own for a few moons now, but he won't turn down the offer of a steady supply of food and protection for his kits. The kittypet decides to keep his old name, "Civet", but the kits take on Clan suffixes, becoming Teaselkit and Daisykit.

⁃ LyreClan attends their first Gathering since their new start. Luckily, the other Clans don't seem all too hostile towards them and in fact, CreviceClan expresses their relief that LyreClan is safe, having been extremely worried when an entire Clan seemed to have vanished in less than a moon.

⁃ Green has begun to overtake the territory once more, a sure sign of newleaf's arrival.

⁃ Daisypaw and Teaselpaw have reached the age of six moons and, after some fussing and hasty grooming from Civet, are apprenticed to Robinpounce and Resinleap respectively. Initially, Pigeonstar had wanted to apprentice Teaselpaw to Dipperfeather, but she knows that Dipperfeather's broken leg will prevent her from being able to properly train the apprentice.

⁃ Resinleap stops to check on Lakebillow, noticing that he's been a bit down since Daisypaw and Teaselpaw's ceremonies. Lakebillow admits that he's a bit jealous that Resinleap was given an apprentice while he wasn't. Resinleap admits that he himself feels wildly unprepared for training an apprentice, and although Lakebillow does wish he was Teaselpaw's mentor instead, he does his best to support Resinleap.

⁃ Civet keeps getting into arguments with other cats. He's been on edge ever since he joined the Clan, snapping at Resinleap for supposedly "stealing something" and at Otterplume for "looking at him funny".

⁃ Pigeonstar almost died of embarrassment after fumbling a catch in front of her clanmates. She’s a leader! She should be past this! Robinpounce laughs and gives her a comforting lick behind the ears at the sight of her friend’s bright red face.

⁃ Although she gets along with most of her Clanmates, any attempt at asking Otterplume about where she used to live causes the molly to shut down completely.

⁃ Resinleap and Teaselpaw steal a kill from a red fox.

⁃ Pigeonstar, Civet, and Lakebillow save an elderly kittypet from being drowned by a twoleg. The injured tom agrees to accompany them to camp and they promise him a place in LyreClan for as long as he needs it. As Jaynight examines his broken back, the cat introduces himself as Cheshire, taking the Clan name of Cheshireheart.

⁃ Cheshireheart's rescue has reassured Civet of the sincerity of LyreClan's kindness. He decides to try and get closer to Pigeonstar, hoping that getting to know his new leader will help soothe his remaining anxieties.

⁃ Otterplume keeps making up more and more obvious excuses to not tell Teaselpaw about her past. It's nothing personal towards the apprentice, it's just that she really doesn't want to talk about it. Regardless, Teaselpaw gets frustrated at the lack of answers.

⁃ Dipperfeather angry that she's stuck with her broken leg while Resinleap is out training her apprentice and snaps at Resinleap when he tries to talk to her about Teaselpaw's training.

⁃ In spite of Jaynight's orders for him to rest, Cheshireheart decides to repay the Clan by spending the day collecting various trinkets from around the camp for Teaselpaw and Daisypaw to play with.

⁃ Daisypaw thinks that Robinpounce is a pushover, complaining that she just does whatever Pigeonstar and Jaynight say. He still follows her commands, but he's not happy about it.

⁃ Otterplume's broken jaw has finally healed, although she is left with a rather nasty scar.

⁃ Civet seems to be slowly warming up to Jaynight's presence, something that makes the medic extremely happy.

⁃ Resinleap gets in a bit of trouble after telling Teaselpaw and Daisypaw an embarrassing story about Lakebillow's kithood that he previously promised he wouldn't share.

⁃ Dipperfeather tries asking Otterplume about her past to similar success as Teaselpaw.

⁃ Otterplume notices Daisypaw struggling with his training. Eager to prove her worth to LyreClan, she offers to tutor him for a while. Daisypaw accepts the help enthusastically, eager for a chance to learn from someone other than Robinpounce.

⁃ Pigeonstar spots Otterplume staring at her reflection in a puddle for just a little too long. She pads over and wishes the she-cat a nice day, making sure to proudly show off her scarred face as she does so, hoping that it’ll give Otterplume some more confidence.

⁃ Teaselpaw spends her mealtime with Cheshireheart again.

⁃ Greenleaf has arrived in the Clan territories.

⁃ Otterplume overhears Robinpounce talking about her own kithood and finds that she can relate. Hesitantly, she shares her own story about her mother, Morningrose, and how she would build little structures out of pebbles for her and her brother to play with.

⁃ For just a second, Otterplume thought she saw someone she recognized. Her heart sinks as she realizes it was just a twoleg object in the shape of a cat.

⁃ Although he may not have an apprentice, Lakebillow takes pride in the fact that his patrols are always much better organized than Resinleap's.

⁃ While Robinpounce tries to teach him about the dangers of twoleg traps, Daisypaw tries to prove his bravery by sticking his face in the trap, forcing a very irritated Robinpounce to pull him out by the tail.

⁃ While trying to cross a thunderpath with Resinleap, Teaselpaw just barely manages to avoid getting hit by a monster.

⁃ Dipperfeather is thrilled to find that her broken bone has finally healed.

⁃ Otterplume and Dipperfeather spend a lot of time with each other as they both help to tutor Daisypaw. While Dipperfeather usually isn't too big on company, she finds that Otterplume's presence is a comfort more than anything else.

⁃ As she searches for prey, Dipperfeather's eyes catch on the form of a wounded cat laying by the side of a thunderpath. She approaches and is alarmed to see signs of life. As fast as she can, she scoops up the cat and brings her to camp to be treated for her wounds. After the cat wakes up, she asks to join the Clan, having no other place to go. Pigeonstar agrees immediately and grants Dipperfeather's request to take the young molly on as her apprentice. The apprentice decides to take on a Clan suffix and now goes by Pansypaw.

⁃ Dipperfeather was attacked by a horde of rats and, while she fights them off, she suffers some nasty injuries. Confined to the medicine den yet again, she saltily wonders if some other Clan role would involve less injuries.

⁃ Robinpounce, Otterplume, and Dipperfeather all watch with pride as Pigeonstar touches her nose to Daisypaw's forhead, naming him Daisyspeckle and honoring him for his undying loyalty. Daisyspeckle is nearly vibrating with excitement, beyond proud of having graduated a whole moon early. Teaselpaw and Civet immediately wind themselves around him purring their congratulations until the three of them are one big kitty cat ball of fluff.

⁃ Jaynight gets distracted and Robinpounce has to stop him from eating some spoiled prey. Afterwards, several cats swear that they are going to start gagging if they have to hear one more second of Jaynight gushing about how awesome his wife is. Robinpounce just mrrps in amusement and affectionately headbutts her idiot husband.

⁃ Daisyspeckle pads up to Otterplume and Dipperfeather as soon as he can escape from his father and sister, still basking in the Clan's cheers and congratulations. He thanks both mollies, admitting that it was mostly due to their tutoring, explaining how he used one of the battle moves they taught him during his final assessment.

⁃ As Robinpounce and Teaselpaw patrol the SpindleClan border, they spot two kittens tussling in the grass. Worried for their safety, Robinpounce goes to pick them up and return them to SpindleClan's camp stopped only by the shouts of an approaching patrol. Relieved and knowing that the kittens will be safe in their Clanmates' paws, she turns and continues her and Teaselpaw's patrol, unaware of the glares of the SpindleClan cats who saw her cross the border towards the kits. LyreClan has met Flarekit and Marigoldkit of SpindleClan.

⁃ A patrol follows the hoarse cries of a cat, seemingly begging for their housefolk to come back and find a kittypet collapsed by the side of the road. Pigeonstar rushes to comfort the tom, who they learn is named Firefly, while Civet tries to interrogate him about if he's a spy for his twolegs. The tom is clearly ill, barely able to get a word out through his coughing and wheezing, and the patrol almost have to carry him back to camp so that Jaynight can check him over. As the medic tries to examine him, a particularly violent cough overtakes his body and Jaynight freezes, eyes suddenly fixed on the droplets of blood now scattered across the ground in front of Firefly. His eyes meet a nauseous Pigeonstar's as they both recognize the scent and symptoms of redcough. Jaynight quickly orders a quarantine for the tom and Pigeonstar finds her pawsteps shaky as she goes to explain what happened to Robinpounce. Meanwhile, Firefly requests taking on a Clan name to show his gratitude. Jaynight won't deny a dying cat such a simple wish, and agrees, allowing Firefly to rename himself Fireflychest.

⁃ Resinleap overdoes it while sparring with Teaselpaw and sprains his paw.

⁃ Otterplume looks up as Teaselpaw gives a yowl of warning, whipping her head around just in time to see the apprentice grab the snake that had been slithering towards her and toss it clear over the camp walls. Stunned, but grateful to be unbitten, Otterplume stutters a bit as she thanks Teaselpaw. Pigeonstar agrees that this is more than enough to prove Teaselpaw a capable warrior and she is named Teaselfang, honoring both her grace and how she saved her Clanmate.

⁃ Daisyspeckle keeps sneaking into the medicine den while Jaynight is busy so that he can talk to Fireflychest. He doesn't understand why the medic is being so cagey about this new cat. What's the worst a little illness could do? He's pretty sure he'll be fine if he ends up with a runny nose...

⁃ As Jaynight helps Cheshireheart with his physical therapy exercises, he is happy to tell the tom that he's improved much more smoothly than Jaynight would have expected from such a serious injury and that he might even be back on his feet soon.

⁃ Lakebillow chases a rabbit over the CreviceClan border, but luckily his transgression seems to have gone unnoticed.

⁃ Teaselfang and her patrol manage to bring down a large owl for the Clan to feast on, despite the rainstorms that have been battering the territory.
