Agateflutter was a speckled golden brown and white tom with dark blue eyes.

History

Agatekit was born to Marshhaven and Mapleglider on Moon 199 during Newleaf alongside his siblings Moosekit, Duckkit, and Anisekit.

Agatekit took interest in collecting sparrow feathers while a flock of them was nesting above the camp. Fascinated by the soft texture and pretty patterns, he decided to keep them on his pelt, braiding them in with the help of Mapleglider.

Throughout his kithood, Agatekit and his littermates were pretty close with the older group of apprentices. Ravenpaw in particular would often visit the nursery to play with them. Agatekit was with Wisteriamane when star discovered Ravenpaw's body, although the warrior did stars best to cover the kit's eyes and send him running back to the nursery, Agatekit was haunted for a long time by the small glimpse he got of Ravenpaw's empty eyes. The sudden and shocking death was mostly hidden from the kits by the adults in an attempt to protect them and as a result, it took Agatekit a long time to piece together exactly what happened to his friend from the fragments of memory he retained from his kithood.

Agatekit lost his mother, Marshhaven to an infection when he was still a kit, not too long after losing Ravenpaw. If one good thing came out of so much tragedy, it's that his mother's death brought Agatekit closer with his aunt Cardinalflit who supported him through his grief. Agatekit helped Mapleglider to pick out the flowers for Marshhaven's funeral.

When he turned six moons old, Agatepaw was excited to be apprenticed to Cardinalflit, looking forward to spending more time with his aunt and eager to get out of the stuffy old nursery. Cardinalflit took him out to see a porcupine on his first day as an apprentice, a memory he held very fondly.

At only seven moons old, Agatepaw, Bearpaw, and Moonpaw worked together to successfully chase off a tresspassing rogue who confronted them while they were hunting.

Agatepaw, along with his brother Duckpaw, were two of the cats who were taken by twolegs when they invaded LyreClan's camp. He was taken to an odd, overcrowded twoleg den, but managed to escape when some other animal caused some chaos that distracted the twolegs. Although he tried, he couldn't find Duckpaw before he had to leave or else risk being recaptured. Free from the twolegs, the new challenge facing Agatepaw was finding his way back home.

Luckily for Agatepaw, he eventually stumbled into Wisteriamane and their kits whilst trying to find his way back to LyreClan. Working together, they eventually managed to track the scent of the Clan and find the new camp where Agatepaw was treated to a tearful reunion with Moosepaw and Anisepaw, now Moosepetal and Aniseleopard. His growth while away from the Clan was clear and the same moon he returned, he was honored for his zeal and given the name Agateflutter.

Eager to prove himself as a new warrior, when Agateflutter's patrol encountered a dog, he made a valiant attempt at protecting his Clanmates. Unfortunately, having been away from the Clan for so long meant that he wasn't as in sync with them as they were with each other and he ended up getting in the way of the patrol's attack rather than helping. The patrol was forced to retreat, leaving the dog to wander the territory and Agateflutter to slink back to camp, thoroughly embarrassed.

Agateflutter's untimely death was occured on Moon 214 during Greenleaf when he and Aniseleopard were caught in a thunderstorm during their patrol. The river that marked the border between LyreClan and SpindleClan overflowed and the floodwaters caught both brothers in its claws. Unable to fight against the currents, both Agateflutter and Aniseleopard drowned. In his last moments, Agateflutter regretted that he was never able to reunite with Mapleglider and Duckpaw, praying that he'll see them again in StarClan one day, preferably in the far, far future.
